NVI Website Policy

Definitions

        “NVI” or “Service Provider” refers to the National Vaccine Institute.

        “User” refers to a natural person or juristic person who uses any services of the National Vaccine Institute.

        “Service” includes the use of products, software, and websites of the National Vaccine Institute.

Terms of Service of the National Vaccine Institute
1. Terms of Service

        1.1 The National Vaccine Institute shall provide services to the User under the terms and service policies set forth in this document, hereinafter referred to as the “General Terms,” and under additional service agreements established for any specific service, hereinafter referred to as the “Specific Terms.”

        1.2 The User may access and review the General Terms and Specific Terms by accessing the services of the National Vaccine Institute.

        1.3 The General Terms and Specific Terms, hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Terms,” constitute a material part of the service provision by the National Vaccine Institute. The User has the duty to read and understand these Terms in detail, and they shall constitute a legally binding agreement between the User and the National Vaccine Institute.

        1.4 In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the General Terms and the Specific Terms, the provisions of the Specific Terms shall prevail and apply to that specific service in place of the General Terms.

        1.5 The National Vaccine Institute reserves the right to amend or modify the Terms without prior written notice to the User.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

        2.1 The User must acknowledge and accept the Terms; otherwise, the User will not be able to use the service.

        2.2 The User may acknowledge and accept the Terms by:

                (1) Signing to acknowledge and accept the Terms, where the National Vaccine Institute will make this document available to the User within the service request form; or

                (2) Using the services of the National Vaccine Institute. In this case, the User shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the Terms implicitly from the moment the use of the service commences.

        2.3 The User is advised to save or make a copy of the General Terms for their records.

3. Provision of Services by the National Vaccine Institute

        3.1 The National Vaccine Institute may develop or improve the form and nature of the services to provide the best possible experience to the User without prior notice.

        3.2 The National Vaccine Institute may suspend or discontinue services, either temporarily or permanently, or terminate services for any specific User if such service provision adversely affects other Users or contravenes the law, without prior notice. However, the User will be notified within 7 days after such action has been taken.

        3.3 In the event of a suspension or termination of services under Clause 3.2, the User will not be able to access the service, account details, any files, or other content contained within the User’s account.

        ** Note:** In the event that the National Vaccine Institute permanently discontinues or terminates the service to a User, the National Vaccine Institute reserves the right to delete any data within the User’s account without prior notice.

        3.4 The National Vaccine Institute may, at any time and at its sole discretion, set upper limits on the volume of data that the User may transmit or receive via the services, or on the amount of storage space used for any service, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing with the National Vaccine Institute.

4. Use of Services by the User

        4.1 The User agrees to provide information about themselves, such as identification data or contact details, that is accurate, true, and always up-to-date to the National Vaccine Institute as part of the registration process or for the continued use of the services.

        4.2 The User agrees to use the services only for purposes permitted by the agreement made with the National Vaccine Institute and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, and generally accepted practices.

        4.3 The User agrees not to access, or attempt to access, any of the services by any means other than through the interface provided by the National Vaccine Institute. This includes a prohibition on using automated means (use of scripts), unless the User has been expressly permitted to do so by the National Vaccine Institute.

        4.4 The User agrees not to engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the services of the National Vaccine Institute, including the servers and networks connected to the services.

        4.5 The User agrees not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, or resell the services for any purpose, unless the User has been expressly permitted to do so by the National Vaccine Institute.

        4.6 The User shall be solely responsible to any person or entity for any loss or damage arising from a breach of these Terms.

5. Passwords and Account Security

        5.1 The User has the duty to maintain the confidentiality of passwords associated with any account used to access the services.

        5.2 The User shall be solely responsible to the National Vaccine Institute for all activities that occur under the User’s account.

6. Privacy and Personal Information of the User

        6.1 The National Vaccine Institute shall handle personal information and protect the privacy of the User in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the National Vaccine Institute.

        6.2 The User agrees to comply with the Privacy Policy of the National Vaccine Institute.

7. Content in the Services

        7.1 The User may receive, access, create, transmit, or display information such as data files, written text, computer software, music, audio files or other sounds, photographs, videos, or other images as part of the services or through the use of the services, hereinafter referred to as “Content.”

        7.2 Content presented to the User may be protected by intellectual property rights owned by the content owners. The User may not modify, sell, distribute, transfer, or create derivative works based on such Content, in whole or in part, unless the User has been expressly permitted to do so by the content owner.

        7.3 The User acknowledges that they may be exposed to Content that they may find offensive, indecent, or objectionable, and they do so at their own risk.

        7.4 The National Vaccine Institute reserves the right to screen, review, flag, modify, refuse, or remove any inappropriate Content from the services. The National Vaccine Institute may provide tools to screen content explicitly, provided that this does not contravene relevant laws and government regulations.

        7.5 The National Vaccine Institute shall not be responsible to any person for any loss or damage arising from Content not created by the National Vaccine Institute. The creator of such Content shall be solely responsible.

        ** Note:** If the User creates, transmits, or displays any Content in the services, the User shall be solely responsible for any loss or damage arising from such Content to any person, including the National Vaccine Institute.

8. Proprietary Rights and Intellectual Property

        8.1 The National Vaccine Institute, or its licensors, own all legal right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including any intellectual property rights which subsist in the Services created by the National Vaccine Institute or its licensors, whether those rights happen to be registered or not.

        8.2 The User shall not disclose information designated as confidential by the National Vaccine Institute without prior written consent from the National Vaccine Institute.

        8.3 The User shall not use the trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, or domain names of the National Vaccine Institute without written consent from the National Vaccine Institute.
