เมื่อวันที่ 23 ตุลาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา นพ.นคร เปรมศรี ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันวัคซีนแห่งชาติ ได้เข้าร่วมการเสวนาในหัวข้อ “Together Against HPV” ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในกิจกรรมสำคัญของการประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ The 37th Annual Conference of the International Papillomavirus Society: IPVS 2025 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 23–26 ตุลาคม 2568 ณ ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ กรุงเทพมหานคร ประเทศไทย ภายใต้หัวข้อหลัก (theme) “Research toward the Global Elimination of HPV-Related Diseases and Cancers”
งาน IPVS 2025 ซึ่งจัดโดย International Papillomavirus Society (IPVS) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นเวทีระดับนานาชาติให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ นักวิจัย และผู้กำหนดนโยบายจากทั่วโลก ได้ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านไวรัส HPV และโรคที่เกี่ยวข้อง ครอบคลุมตั้งแต่งานวิจัยพื้นฐาน การแพทย์คลินิก ไปจนถึงการกำหนดนโยบายด้านสาธารณสุข เพื่อขับเคลื่อนสู่เป้าหมายการขจัดโรคและมะเร็งที่เกิดจากเชื้อ HPV ในระดับโลก
สำหรับการเสวนาในหัวข้อ “Together Against HPV” ซึ่งจัดขึ้นภายใต้เวทีดังกล่าว นพ.นคร เปรมศรี ได้ร่วมบรรยายกับหน่วยงานพันธมิตรหลักด้านการถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีการผลิตวัคซีน HPV ชนิด 9 สายพันธุ์ให้กับผู้ผลิตวัคซีนของประเทศไทย ได้แก่ บริษัท Xiamen INNOVAX Biotech (INNOVAX), มหาวิทยาลัย Xiamen และ บริษัท โกลบอลไบโอเทค จำกัด (Global Biotech Co., Ltd.)
บนเวทีดังกล่าว นพ.นคร ได้บรรยายในหัวข้อ “Together Against HPV: Leveraging Strong Partnerships for HPV9 Local Production and Equitable Access in Thailand” โดยเน้นย้ำความสำคัญของความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันวัคซีนแห่งชาติ บริษัทวัคซีนของประเทศไทย ได้แก่บริษัท โกลบอล ไบโอเทค
โปรดักส์ จำกัด และบริษัทวัคซีนของประเทศจีน คือ Xiamen INNOVAX Biotech (INNOVAX) ที่มีบทบาทสำคัญต่อการถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีการผลิตวัคซีน HPV9 ในประเทศ รวมถึงการขยายความครอบคลุมของการเข้าถึงวัคซีนในกลุ่มเป้าหมาย เพื่อส่งเสริมความเท่าเทียมด้านสาธารณสุข
การมีส่วนร่วมของสถาบันวัคซีนแห่งชาติในเวที IPVS 2025 ในครั้งนี้ เปิดโอกาสให้เครือข่ายการทำงานนอกสถาบันระดับนานาชาติเห็นถึงบทบาทเชิงรุกของการขับเคลื่อนความมั่นคงด้านวัคซีน (Vaccine Security) และการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อให้ประชาชนสามารถเข้าถึงวัคซีนได้อย่างเท่าเทียม ครอบคลุม และยั่งยืน อันเป็นก้าวสำคัญสู่การบรรลุเป้าหมายการขจัดมะเร็งปากมดลูกขององค์การอนามัยโลก (WHO) ในอนาคต
National Vaccine Institute joins “Together Against HPV” session at IPVS 2025
On October 23, 2025, Dr. Nakorn Premsri, Director of the National Vaccine Institute (NVI), participated as a speaker in the session “Together Against HPV”, one of the key highlights of the 37th Annual Conference of the International Papillomavirus Society (IPVS 2025).
The conference was held from October 23–26, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand, under the main theme “Research toward the Global Elimination of HPV-Related Diseases and Cancers.”
Organized by the International Papillomavirus Society (IPVS), the conference serves as a global platform for experts, researchers, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and share scientific advancements on HPV and related diseases — spanning from basic research and clinical medicine to public health policies — to accelerate the elimination of HPV-related cancers worldwide.
During the “Together Against HPV” session, Dr. Nakorn Premsri presented alongside key partners in the HPV9 vaccine technology transfer collaboration, including Xiamen INNOVAX Biotech (INNOVAX), Xiamen University, and Global Biotech Co., Ltd.
Dr. Nakorn delivered a presentation titled “Together Against HPV: Leveraging Strong Partnerships for HPV9 Local Production and Equitable Access in Thailand,” emphasizing the importance of multi-sectoral partnerships between National Vaccine Institute, Global Biotech Co., Ltd., Thailand’s vaccine manufacturer, and Xiamen INNOVAX Biotech, China’s vaccine manufacturer in advancing HPV9 vaccine production in Thailand and expanding equitable access to HPV vaccination across target populations.
NVI’s participation in IPVS 2025 provides an opportunity for its international partners to recognize proactive role in strengthening vaccine security and fostering international collaboration to ensure that people have equitable, comprehensive, and sustainable access to vaccines — a crucial step toward achieving the WHO’s goal of eliminating cervical cancer worldwide.
