This training is co-organized by the National Vaccine Institute (NVI) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in collaboration with the Regional Vaccine Manufacturing Collaborative (RVMC) and the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC), under the ASEAN Vaccine Security and Self-Reliance (AVSSR) initiative.
The ASEAN region, home to over 600 million people, is experiencing rapid growth in the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the healthcare sector. The region’s growing vaccine and medical manufacturing ecosystem, supported by public and private stakeholders engaged in research, development and production, is increasingly exploring the use of AI to support healthcare innovation, manufacturing optimization and regional health security initiatives.
As ASEAN member states continue advancing digital health capabilities and local manufacturing ecosystems through cross-border collaboration, research partnerships and technology development, intellectual property (IP) considerations are becoming increasingly important in supporting innovation, commercialization and responsible deployment of AI technologies in healthcare and medical manufacturing.
Join the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in partnership with National Vaccine Institute Thailand (NVI) and the Regional Vaccine Manufacturing Collaborative (RVMC), for a training session exploring AI, Healthcare and IP.
